The Village Hall Committee held a Summer Fair in the meadow off Memorial Lane on Sunday 18 July 2004. Despite the occasional heavy shower there was a good attendance. Tombola, face painting, fun, games and competitions were among the many attractions.

The Winner of the Bygone competition was Ken Shrimpton with 6 correct answers out of 10 and gets the prize of a very nice personal organizer. Several people got 4 out of 10. Second place must go to Neil and Paula Turvey with 4 correct answers and 1 half right. Sorry no second prize.
There were 13 entries to the adult paths competition and quite a few entrants to the children's treasure hunt - 2 or 3 of whom spent 1 trying to find the treasure on the map!! Of the 13 entries the scores ranged from 1 to 11 - with the top prize of the aerial photo being won by Chris Spoor with 11 points. Di Stephenson won the a signed copy of "Felmersham - The History of a Riverside" and the bottle of wine was won by William Robinson.
Our thanks to David and Janet Cook for the use of the field and to David, Janet, the Village Hall Committee and the various parish groups and organisations for all their hard work in creating a successful event.
