Chairman's Message - January 2008
I am pleased to be
the new Chairman of PFCC and I look forward to your support
during the next 3 years. Under previous Chairmen Nick
Kitchen and Mike Wagstaff this newly formed joint village
club has seen massive development and progress which has
involved many people.
My mission is to continue that development and move us into
an even stronger position, especially by maintaining the
involvement of those many stalwarts who are always on hand
as well as by creating the environment that will attract
wider contributions from our growing player base.
We are working hard to add to our playing staff in both
numbers and capability and will make every effort to
strengthen on all fronts. As a club we have an appetite to
play a lot of cricket, both friendly and league, and at a
number of levels and have fun!
So we have committed to a strong agenda to develop the club.
To support this development the club is organised around 3
distinct teams supported by a General and Finance Committee to
administer the club, who with members of each of the teams below
form the Full Committee, which meets four times per year.

Youth
Development
We have agreed that as a club our
priority in the coming year is to establish a youth
development programme, supported by professional and volunteer
ECB qualified staff. To support this over the coming years we
will also develop the clubs playing and practice facilities
and the benefits of being a PFCC club member. |

We have a balance to strike between playing cricket,
developing players, social activity and funding, and we look
forward to your contribution in the ethos of being a club
member - whether as a VP, a Player, a Sponsor or one of our
many general social supporters - in the running and
development of the club.
We have great support – long may it continue, thank you. |
